The client asked us to develop a website that would allow them to offer online exposure to their advertisers. They also wanted to be able to post their stories online faster and more efficiently.

Goals
We set out to create a site that’s easy to read, with multiple positions for banner advertisements. The client also wanted the updating / management process to be simple. 

Research
We held a discovery process meeting with the Chronicle staff and worked to understand their day-to-day business. We also researched other newspaper sites and online newspaper communities.

Audience
Catholic Dioceses of Toledo parishioners.

Results
Banner advertising paid for the design and construction of the website within its first month of operation. The staff of the Catholic Chronicle continues to post stories daily. The number of page views averages 84,000 each month.
