Goals / Strategy
Mountain View Tire is a 29-store chain of tire and automotive service centers in southern California. Their previous website was inconsistent in its look and written content, and didn’t present them in the best light. Our first job was to create a visually appealing site while still incorporating the company’s logo and recognizable colors.
We also wanted to build a better tire selector; create sections where new content could be added easily, such as a blog and a testimonials page; and promote the site on a regular basis through SEO Marketing and Website Marketing.
Audience
The site is targeted at current and potential MVT customers: male and female drivers in southern California.
Results
- Since going live in September of 2010, the site has increased store traffic by doubling the number of calls to telephone numbers posted only on the site. Now, 82% of all unique calls to MVT come from their online phone numbers.
- Unique visitors to the website have increased by 25%.
- The number of requested estimates and appointments has increased 100%.
- More than 1,000 coupons are printed from the site each month.
- The blog and Facebook page serve as useful sources of information on car-related topics, solidifying MVT’s reputation as the area expert on tires and vehicle care and maintenance.
