Liz began her career with BusinessVoice in January of 2011. As a Copywriter, she works with many clients to craft their On Hold Marketing and Call Processing copy, as well as content for an occasional website.

In a previous career, Liz served as a press secretary for a congressional candidate, writing speeches and press releases. She also worked on the local steering committee for a 2004 presidential candidate’s campaign.

Along with her Bachelor’s degree, Liz earned both a Master of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from the University of Toledo.

Liz and her husband Ryan have two children and one on the way. In her spare time, she is actively involved in her church and also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling and relaxing at Devil’s Lake in Michigan’s Irish Hills.

What unique skill, trait, or perspective do you bring to WebArt’s projects or clients?

I am a really good listener. This helps me determine my clients’ specific needs and ensure that I will portray those needs and goals through copy. 

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Two things: I love to be challenged and I love to learn, and this career provides endless opportunities for both. I also enjoy the fun and friendly work environment.

Who do you look up to or respect most in the marketing and / or creative worlds?

I really admire my colleagues. Scott, Jessica, Bob and Clara are incredibly brilliant and willing to share their ideas and creative processes. They’ve been an infinite source of inspiration to me. I am fortunate to work with such amazing people.

What’s the best thing a client has ever said to you?

That what I had written for them was “perfect.”
